The ORT Carnival also comes to the Persio Flacco Theater in Volterra with a program that mixes languages, reinvents forms, and plays with musical disguises. A musical journey through styles and latitudes, from tango to samba, from opera to jazz, with forays into singer-songwriter music and popular sounds. Leading the orchestra is Roberto Molinelli, a conductor and composer with a brilliant writing style and tireless curiosity, who has always been committed to dialogue between different genres.

The title Carnevale Reloaded speaks for itself: a reversal of the rules, a short circuit between the seasons, an irreverent mix of forms and rhythms. The program intertwines music by Vivaldi and Piazzolla, Verdi and Vinicius de Moraes, Bernstein‘s famous Mambo and a samba version of Paganini, alongside original pieces by Molinelli himself, designed to surprise, engage, and entertain.

Not just a concert, but an all-round musical show: energetic, colorful, ironic. An evening built on the game of disguise, where the Orchestra della Toscana moves with lightness and precision between quotations, contaminations, and inventions.
