Fiati all’Opera offers the chance to discover the origins of this success story, which has cemented the long-standing collaboration with Alessandro Riccio and the Orchestra della Toscana over the years. In this show, the Florentine actor and performer literally steps into the shoes of composers such as Mozart, Rossini, Bizet and Puccini, in a series of hilarious and entertaining disguises. All this is accompanied by the finest pieces from the operatic repertoire they composed: works such as Don Giovanni, The Marriage of Figaro, The Barber of Seville, Carmen, Gianni Schicchi and Tosca, transcribed for wind quintet and performed by the principal players of the ORT.

Musica Diffusa, the ORT’s music festival which takes over all five districts of Florence, forms part of AUTUNNO FIORENTINO, organised by the Municipality of Florence with the support of the Directorate-General for Performing Arts of the Ministry of Culture.

It is organised in collaboration with Fondazione Solidarietà Caritas ETS Firenze. We would like to thank Fondazione Leopolda, Comunità di San Leolino – Certosa di Firenze and Fondazione Teatro della Toscana for their hospitality.

You can make a DONATION online and/or at the collection points set up during the concerts to provide a hot meal for those most in need, in support of the Caritas soup kitchens, in collaboration with Fondazione Solidarietà Caritas and CESVOT.
