Giacomo Bianchi, in the dual role of solo violinist and conductor, leads the Orchestra della Toscana in one of the most famous masterpieces in the history of music: Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons. The four concertos, inspired by the sonnets accompanying the score, depict the passing of the seasons through lively music rich in sonic imagery: from birdsong to summer storms, from the grape harvest to winter landscapes. A timeless masterpiece that continues to enchant with its extraordinary evocative power and the brilliance of the dialogue between the violin and the orchestra.

Musica Diffusa, the ORT’s music festival that takes over all five districts of Florence, forms part of AUTUNNO FIORENTINO, organised by the City of Florence with the support of the Directorate-General for Performing Arts of the Ministry of Culture.
It is organised in collaboration with the Fondazione Solidarietà Caritas ETS Firenze. We would like to thank the Fondazione Leopolda, the Comunità di San Leolino – Certosa di Firenze and the Fondazione Teatro della Toscana for their hospitality.

You can make a DONATION online and/or at the collection points set up during the concerts to provide a hot meal for those most in need, in support of the Caritas soup kitchens, in collaboration with the Caritas Solidarity Foundation.
