    The opening concert in Piazza Grande in Montepulciano of the 49th Cantiere Internazionale d’Arte will engage the Orchestra della Toscana led by Alexander Lonquich, pianist, conductor, but above all a fine German intellectual who has been linked to Italy and Tuscany for decades.

    With him will be the multi-award-winning 20-year-old violinist Angela Tempestini, a growing talent at the Fiesole school, with a layout between Mendelssohn, with his Violin Concerto in E minor op. 64, and Schubert, the latter author on whom Lonquich is considered an absolute reference artist, whose famous Symphony No. 6 in C major D. 589, also known as ‘Die Kleine’ (‘the little one’), will be performed.
