    In the setting of Badia a Passignano, the ORT’s first appointment for the series I Concerti di Badia 2024 will be held. The protagonists of this concert are two excellencies of our Orchestra: first violin Giacomo Bianchi, here also as concertmaster, and Flavio Giuliani, first oboe.

    The decision to include Johann Sebastian Bach‘s Concerto for violin, oboe and orchestra BWV 1060R in the programme fits perfectly. A score in C minor whose page was lost, and later ‘reconstructed’ on the basis of a similar score that Bach wrote for two harpsichords and orchestra.
    Completing the programme are Antonio Vivaldi‘s famous Four Seasons, i.e. the first four solo violin concertos from the collection Il cimento dell’armonia e dell’inventione.
