    The 2025 Christmas Concert of the Orchestra della Toscana makes a stop at the Galleria dei Giganti in Peccioli, an iconic site in the Valdera region where contemporary art meets the Tuscan landscape. This venue enhances the event, highlighting the connection between music, culture and place, and making this stop a particularly meaningful moment of the tour.

    On the podium will be Nicolò Jacopo Suppa, a young conductor already praised across Italian seasons for his clear and engaging interpretations. He will be joined by cellist Ettore Pagano, one of the most remarkable talents of his generation, known for his expressive depth and warm, resonant tone.

    The program opens with Rossini’s lively overture from Il signor Bruschino, followed by Tchaikovsky’s Andante cantabile, taken from his first string quartet and presented here in its orchestral version, which highlights the cello’s lyrical voice. At the center of the evening, Stravinsky’s Suite italienne No. 1 offers a refined interplay between past and present. The concert concludes with Mozart’s Symphony No. 41 “Jupiter”, a pinnacle of the Classical era for brilliance, balance and vitality.
