    Amidst the timeless charm of the Villa Medicea La Magia, Giacomo Bianchi conducts the strings of the Orchestra della Toscana in an evening dedicated to two of the most beloved works in the string orchestra repertoire.

    Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s famous Eine kleine Nachtmusik opens the concert with its luminous elegance, perfect formal balance and that lightness—only seemingly simple—which has made it one of the symbols of classical music. Alongside the refined classicism of Mozart, Pëtr Il’ič Čajkovskij’s Serenade for Strings, Op. 48, leads us instead into a deeply romantic universe, made up of lyrical flourishes, intense melancholy and great sonic richness.

    Two masterpieces separated by time yet united by an extraordinary ability to showcase the sound of the strings, in a continuous dialogue between transparency, cantabile and emotion. The music thus meets the beauty of the Medici villa and its gardens, on a summer evening where art, landscape and repertoire merge into a single listening experience.
